Alex Helfrecht's The Trojan Women is a tale of guilt, survival, female resilience - and the radical reinvention of a broken world. Twenty years after the destruction of Troy, Athena is given two hours to convince the Gods "The Board and Shareholders" to rebuild the city. She brings together the women who survived the war, and each has her own version of what happened and what should come next. But as old wounds reopen, secrets surface and the unseen powers watching them tighten their grip, the meeting becomes a reckoning with who gets to write history - and who gets to decide the future.
A month long run is planned for May 2027 at the Omnibus Theatre, Clapham https://www.omnibus-clapham.org/ followed by a tour to Greece in 2028. The project is a co-production between https://peoplepresents.com/ in Greece and The
